Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia is the voice of the heavy construction materials industry in Australia. Our Members deliver essential materials for the nation's infrastructure, housing, and commercial developments.
The industry generates approximately $15 Billion in annual revenues and employs approximately 30,000 Australians directly and a further 80,000 indirectly.
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Queensland operations as State Director QLD. This is a unique opportunity to influence policy, drive stakeholder engagement, and support the long-term sustainability of our industry.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the QLD State Committees coordinating meetings, agendas, and actions.Build relationships with members, government leaders, and industry stakeholders.Research and prepare policy documents, reports, and submissions.Lead strategic projects aligned with CCAA's objectives.Support member retention, recruitment, and event facilitation.Work with the national office on a range of policy issues.About You: Qualifications: A degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Demonstrated expertise in project management and policy development, with a history of working with senior leaders.Skills: Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and excellent written and verbal communication.Attributes: Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented.This role offers the chance to shape the future of Queensland's construction materials industry while collaborating with key stakeholders across government and business.
