With a culture of empowering our people, we are passionate about rural communities, the profitability of our clients, and the sustainability of agriculture at all levels.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a key part of the WA Executive Leadership Team, the State Agronomy Services Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our agronomy strategy in Western Australia.Lead the development of a state-wide agronomy advisory strategy to help us grow our service offering and further develop our network of internal and external Agronomists.Oversee the AgroAdvantage Trial & Development platform including soil testing offer.Identify market trends and collaborate with procurement, retail branches, and agents on product forecasting and inventory management.Provide guidance to the Agronomist network on delivering agronomic technical expertise and recommending best-fit products and services to clients.Foster the network of Delta Ag Agronomists/Advisors/Agents from across WA by encouraging and enabling collaboration.Support the Agronomist network in achieving sales and earnings targets within their branches.Co-ordinate state, interstate, and overseas agronomy tours.Training & DevelopmentOversee selection, induction, and development of agronomists to ensure a strong foundation in agronomy.Facilitate tailored technical training and development programs for the Agronomist network to enhance their skills.Co-ordinate Agronomy Updates Tech Sheets designed for WA cropping programs.Liaise with and work with our Director who manages our agronomy program and the agronomy team in Eastern Australia.ABOUT YOUTo excel as our State Agronomy Manager you will:Be tertiary qualified in ag science or a related field.Have a proven track record in sales, achieving targets, and possess widespread experience as an agronomist.Have expert knowledge of ag products and their application, experience in providing agronomy advice, and delivering results for your customers.Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the aptitude to build, mentor, and lead a team of agronomists.Provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with clients.Actively promote workplace health and safety and show strong leadership in fostering a culture of safety.To be considered for this position, click on "Apply" today or email your application to Fiona Colvin, or call for a confidential discussion.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?#J-18808-Ljbffr
