About the Role Food is a key part of our daily life and Goodman Fielder plays an essential role in providing high quality food to our customers and consumers. As such, we're looking for a driven and ambitious State Account Manager with an end user focus to help grow our market share in Food Service.
This role will be a part of the team that will execute the end user strategy on a state basis and will partner very closely with our Distributor Account Managers and National Account Managers to build the full product offering in the Food Service market. The role will be based in Victoria and cover the Western Territory.
The successful candidate can be based in one of our manufacturing sites at either West Footscray, Clayton or Dandenong.
Specifically, you will Understand the push/pull method of sales into distributors and end usersCreate sustainable business relationships with key state end user and distributor groups within Food Service and seek all opportunities for volume and valueConduct regular business reviews with key distributors and end users to identify areas for improvement and identify further opportunities for growthExecute marketing activation plans to deliver incremental ranging in end users and distributorsWork cross functionally with marketing, R&D and operations to develop and drive NPD to marketConsistently review the in-year plan and financial metrics, and prioritise the requirements based on risks and opportunities to meet calendar year financial budgetAnalyse industry and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities to maintain a competitive advantageIdentify portfolio opportunities for growth and target new customersBuild your territory through cold calling and new customer acquisitions, logging each account and call into SalesforceDrive compliance in national accounts on a state levelAbout You 3+ years' experience as a Territory/State Account Manager / Business Development Manager in Food ServiceStrong understanding of the end user and distributor landscape in VictoriaSelf-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously or part of a teamExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skillsProficiency in CRM software and MS office suiteWhat can we offer you?
