We are looking for a highly motivated team member who can deliver individualised 1:1 personal training sessions, assist new members on their health & fitness journey, and lead group sessions in a fun, encouraging environment. An experienced personal trainer would thrive in this role, however the successful candidate/s would be supported with in-house workshops and future professional development opportunities so they could confidently work alongside a team of experienced and highly qualified trainers. This role would suit someone looking to increase a client base at various times of the day including early mornings and evenings. Key accountabilities include: 1 on 1 Personal Training Small group graining Delivery of gym inductions/programs Supervising gym floor Assisting with/delivering various classes Qualifications & Experience - Minimum Certificate III or IV in Fitness Current First Aid Current CPR RRHAN-EC (or able to receive prior to employment commencing) Working with Children Certification (or able to receive prior to employment commencing) The following traits would be advantageous: Excellent communication skills Confident working independently and with a team A strong desire to learn new skills Ability to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills A passion to engage with all clientele and improve health and fitness in the community Experience or interest working with a variety of different people A Diploma in Fitness, or a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science would be highly regarded but not essential STARplex prides itself on exceeding client's expectations to provide a service that can reflect our mission statement of improving fitness, wellness and performance within the community.
