The Stakeholder Specialist (Projects) will oversee the implementation of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives to support the successful execution of Adelaide Airport's aeronautical projects. These projects will modernize and expand Adelaide Airport's facilities to meet growing passenger demand and enhance overall travel experience, improving airport infrastructure to enhance efficiency, capacity, and passenger experience.
You will effectively involve and inform a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers about relevant activities, changes, and milestones related to these critical projects. The role involves developing stakeholder and communication management plans, which strategically address the concerns and interests of both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:Deliver effective strategic communications and stakeholder engagement activities to support the successful delivery of the aeronautical projects across a diverse set of internal and external stakeholder groups.Ensure stakeholders are kept informed about activities, changes, and milestones relating to projects.Develop and deliver communication material in line with requirements in aeronautical agreements.Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders including airlines, airport tenants, concessions/retail/F&B and other stakeholders as agreed with other teams.Provide strategic advice for stakeholder relationships and reputation management.Manage, develop, and mentor the stakeholder team.Key requirements:Bachelor's degree in communications, project management, business or related field or relevant industry experience.Proven experience developing best practice frameworks for communications and associated systems to support these functions.Established experience in stakeholder engagement or communications.Proven ability to develop engagement plans, manage projects, and handle contentious issues.Well-developed oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated experience building relationships across diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities.Strong team player with high level of customer centric skills.Experience within construction projects dealing with business/corporate stakeholders would be well regarded.Adelaide Airport is not just an airport - it's a vibrant hub that plays a significant role in South Australia's economy.
