This is an exciting opportunity to join the Consutaltion & Engagement Branch to support the involvement of key stakeholders in shaping these reforms, and make a difference to the lives of children and families across Victoria.
About us The Consultation & Engagement Branch sits within the Kindergarten Expansion and Pre-Prep Reform (KEPPR) division in Early Childhood Education. KEPPR works collaboratively across the Department and with the sector to undertake place-based service delivery and monitoring, support the ongoing supply of early childhood teachers and educators and deliver infrastructure projects to ensure the success of the BSBL reforms.
About the role As Stakeholder Engagement Support Officer you will support the branch to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, plan and deliver events, coordinate briefs and correspondence, and provide advice on key stakeholder risks and issues.
You will have the opportunity to work on a breadth of policy and delivery issues across the early childhood education sector, while supporting productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
About you As our ideal candidate, you will demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work in a highly collaborative and supportive way and have:
Strong conceptual and analytical skillsSound knowledge of the processes, policies and procedures within governmentExcellent time and task management skillsStrong interpersonal skillsThis role will suit a motivated, well-organised person who, under supervision, can prioritise their workload, escalate issues in a timely professional manner, and has the ability to recognise when assistance needs to be sought.
