Our team is close-knit, and you will be an integral member supporting the team in delivering State-wide projects, building the business, and meeting the company's ultimate vision of creating lasting community benefit.GHD will provide an environment for learning where you will have the opportunity to receive training in Project Management and industry accreditations.The team comprises Social Planners, Stakeholder Engagement, and Communication specialists and plays a vital role in engaging stakeholders and the community throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the early business case stages to the construction phase. This role offers an opportunity to work in the environment of fellow experts to conduct social impact assessments, engage with Indigenous communities, and address communication and contentious matters for a growing portfolio of major GHD clients, including Rio Tinto, Main Roads WA, Synergy, Defence, and beyond.As a Stakeholder Engagement Consultant in our Planning and Engagement team, you will work with a variety of internal, public, and private sector clients providing:Stakeholder and community engagement strategies, planning, program delivery, reviews, evaluations, and social impact assessments.Facilitation of workshops, public information sessions, and other events.Communication strategies, tools, and tactics for projects and programs crafted for various platforms and audiences.Ability to work on regional and national projects with an opportunity to visit site locations.Qualitative and quantitative research.Digital and social media programs.Management of community feedback platforms, 1800 number, and email.Working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.What would you bring to the team?A tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Science, Arts, or related field (IAP2 certification desirable).Strong social skills including the ability to engage with members of the community and key partners.Excellent writing skills and a consistent record in producing high-quality content for a range of digital and traditional communication channels.Ability to manage expectations to drive collective understanding of outcomes to meet client, stakeholder, and community needs.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills together with the capacity to be flexible and adaptable.An ability to understand and analyse complex information, conducting and analysing quantitative and qualitative research.Approximately 3 - 5 years prior experience, working in stakeholder or community-focused roles.Interested?
