And that's where you come in.Job Description:Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Stakeholder & Communications Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.This newly created role is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the ETCS Program through strategic and tactical communication within the Sequence Alliance, stakeholders and community, including management of the Sequence Brand and reputation in line with Best Practice Principles in procurement, community engagement and employment.Key responsibilities:Provide strategic communication and stakeholder engagement advice, guidance, and support to the Sequence Alliance Management team providing internal communication support for the ongoing development of a constructive, inclusive culture.Support the Culture and Engagement manager in the creation of the Sequence Alliance Employer Value Proposition for current and future team members.Deliver the Sequence Alliance strategic communications plan and liaise regularly with the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority Communication & Engagement branch to identify key communication & engagement requirements, provide targeted support in marketing and communications, including project construction and delivery; innovation and improvement; and transition to operations.Determine potential community impacts from project construction and delivery activities (e.g. noise, dust, disruption to commuters) and work with Sequence Alliance partners, plan, draft suitable materials, and engage identified community members in relation to the ETCS project.Simplify and convey complex information to diverse audiences using exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Liaise with Communication leads from Hitachi Rail, CCRDA, TMR and QR to maintain open communication channels, ensure consistent messaging and maximise opportunities for content collaboration and mutual benefit.Skills & Experience:5+ years of firsthand experience in Marketing and Communication with experience in infrastructure, rail and/or alliances (technical teams) highly desirable.Previous experience in building and delivering communication plans that include how we work (EVP, Brand) to shape behaviours.Previous experience in partnering with program partners to see strategy through to delivery.Demonstrated ability to draft communication and engagement material including of a technical nature and in response to events.Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage various initiatives including experience in coordinating and implementing community programs or events.Familiarity with data analysis and metrics to assess the effectiveness of communications initiatives, including in using tools to gather employee feedback.Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and with multiple key stakeholders.At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
