What does your role look like? Start the next chapter in your career as Tassal's new Stakeholder & Community Engagement Manager. We are seeking someone with passion for building and maintaining a community of supporters. Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Affairs & Community, this brand new role is a great chance to work with a Tasmanian born and bred institution. We are looking for someone who can: Manage and engage in Tassal's community engagement function, including participating in various events such as school breakfasts, community days; and can represent Tassal within the community. Develop and execute a strategic stakeholder engagement program across key jurisdictions.Lead Tassal's Community Advisory Groups and community notifications process, ensuring local communities receive considered, proactive advice about operations in key areas.Lead two direct reports and also provide strategic oversight for Tassal's Seafood Shop in Salamanca – ensuring that the Shop delivers value for both Tassal and the community.This full-time position is based at our gorgeous waterfront office in Hobart and offers a unique opportunity to travel and work on projects across the country. You will support and build relationships across a broad range of community partners. To be successful in this position you will already have the following experience: A flexible, self-motivated and collaborative team player with excellent project management skills, initiative, attention to detail, and aprofessional and positive attitudeCommunications skills, with an ability to engage across-business and stakeholders to develop clear communications, presentations, agendas and strategic adviceExtensive time spent working with and building effective relationships with a diverse cross-section of business, community and political stakeholders Demonstrated capability to deliver events in community in partnership with key stakeholdersWhat can you bring?
