Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist (Intensive Care) The Intensive Care Unit is looking for a Staff Specialist to join their team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. This role assists the Director of Intensive Care to provide specialist clinical care to patients with critical illness and assumes overall responsibility for patient care.

About the Role Services provided include:
Specialist Intensive Care services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service, Inpatient care, including participating in the on-call roster, Inpatient consultations as requested, Active participation in contributing to the multidisciplinary patient care team, Participation in multidisciplinary meetings, Supervision and teaching of registrars, junior doctors, and medical students, and teaching for other members of the multidisciplinary team, Participation and/or leadership of research and quality improvement activities.
