The services provided range from prevention and treatment through to recovery and maintenance. MHJHADS services are provided in inpatient and outpatient settings, community health centres, justice health facilities and other community settings by mobile teams. MHJHADS aims to be socially inclusive and operate within a recovery-focussed and/or harm minimisation approach.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) section of MHJHADS provides specialist inpatient and community-based mental health assessment and treatment services for children and adolescents experiencing moderate to severe mental illness/disorder with significant functional impairment, associated complex needs and risk.
