The Royal Hobart Hospital and Department of Rheumatology is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Staff Specialist – Rheumatology vacancy.
The successful applicant will provide a consulting role in Rheumatology and deliver inpatient and outpatient care to public and private patients of the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH), be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and be actively involved in research. They will also undertake quality improvement activities.

Details of Appointment: Permanent, part-time day work (with on-call), working 30.4 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible from 3 February 2025.

Minimum Requirements:Holds specialist registration; orIs a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway.Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an IMG with a recognised overseas specialist qualification and assessed as having sufficient experience in the specialty.The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
