The position will provide services as part of a multi-disciplinary team to one or more of the following: to young people referred to the Adolescent Court and Community Team, the Community Integration Team, in-reach custodial adolescent forensic mental health and drug and alcohol services, and the Forensic Risk Assessment Management and Advice Service. The position holder will provide psychiatric assessments and treatment of these young people and be involved in comprehensive discharge planning from custody or other services to the community as agreed with the Clinical Director Adolescent Forensic Mental Health.
Your Role and Experience We are looking for qualified health care professionals with:
Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Current OR eligibility for Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and/or other equivalent specialist psychiatric recognition.Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and/or forensic psychiatry.Salary & Benefits Your salary as per the NSW Health - Staff Specialists (State) Award (click to view) is just the beginning.
