An exciting opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist to join our NSW Community Forensic Mental Health Service.
The Role and Your Experience
The staff specialist position involves the provision of clinical services and leadership within a multidisciplinary team working as part of the NSW CFMHS. The CFMHS has three teams, but the role will work predominantly within the community transition team which provides prison in-reach and community support services to people transitioning from custody into the community.
For this role, we are looking for:
A qualified Forensic Psychiatrist recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Expert skills and knowledge in structured professional judgement risk assessments and interventions to address problematic behaviours, including sexual offending and problem sexual behaviours.
