What you'll be doing Provide contemporary comprehensive specialist General Paediatric and Neonatal services for optimal patient outcomes.
Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
This is a Category A position.

Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.

Selection Criteria Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Paediatrician, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.Demonstrated recent clinical experience in General Paediatrics at the role delineation of the service and accredited to supervise Paediatric Advance Trainees in Rural/Regional and Community Paediatrics by FRACP or willing to obtain accreditation.Demonstrated expertise in General Paediatrics, Neonatology and Community Paediatrics and APLS (Acute Paediatric Life Support) certified.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.Ability to participate in the on-call roster for the Paediatric and Neonatal Unit and to respond onsite within a reasonable time.Current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel throughout the LHD as required.Need more information?
