Provide high quality specialist paediatric services to the patients on the North West within the limits of specified clinical privileges.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Specialist Paediatrician, who will work as part of the Paediatric Department across the North West region. The Paediatrics department provides a consultative service supported by inpatient and outpatient services, as well as outreach services located at regional centres.
Details of Appointment:Fixed term full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 6 January 2025 until 8 August 2025.
Salary:Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $210,000 - $310,349 per annum, pro rata + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging.
Minimum Requirements:Holds specialist registrationIs a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on specialist pathwayIs a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) with a recognised overseas specialist qualification and sufficient experience in the specialty.Current Tasmanian Working with Children RegistrationCurrent Driver's Licence*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role.
