About your opportunity: Permanent full-time or part-time / Multiple positions, hours negotiable / Location: Townsville The Paediatric Surgery Staff Specialist will be working as part of the team in paediatric surgery at the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) to provide care as close to home as possible.
The THHS is the only regional tertiary referral centre for northern Queensland and of its kind in Australia.

Generous remuneration package value up to $536,916 p.a.
comprising: Salary range of $8062.00 to $10,221.70 p.f.
(L18-L27) full-time Salary range of $100.78 to $127.77 p.h.
(L18-L27) part-time 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary) Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a.
+ 3.6 weeks p.a.

All appointments are subject to maintenance of SoCP within the CSCF for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
Travel is a requirement of this position.
Possession of class C drivers' licence.
On call: Appointees will be required to participate in an on-call roster.
Probation period may apply.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
