The Royal Hobart Hospital and Department of Neurosurgery is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Staff Specialist – Neurosurgery vacancy.

The Role In accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and statutory regulations, the Staff Specialist - Neurosurgery will: Provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to neurosurgery patients. Actively pursue improved outcomes for Neurosurgery Inpatients by participating in teaching and research relevant to neurosurgery. Essential Requirements Holds specialist registration; or Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is on the specialist pathway. Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the speciality. Details of Appointment Permanent part-time day work (with on-call), working 22.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
