Staff Specialist Medical Oncology, Queensland HealthThe Medical Oncology Unit is looking for a Staff Specialist to join their team.
This role provides specialist Medical Oncology clinical care to patients and assumes overall responsibility for patient care.
Services provided include:
Provides specialist services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service.This position will be required to work at other facilities located across Metro South Health.Provides inpatient and outpatient care and participates in the on-call roster.Supervision and teaching of registrars, junior doctors, and medical students, and teaching for other members of the multidisciplinary team.About the Role This role reports to the Director of Medical Oncology and fulfills accountabilities and responsibilities in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives.
It fosters a culture of interprofessional collaboration and leadership through understanding the roles of others in the interprofessional team, leveraging this knowledge to establish and meet client goals and inform service direction.
