Medical Specialists (Healthcare & Medical) Full time The Role - Older Persons Emergency Referral and Assessment This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults during critical and vulnerable moments. You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive medical assessments and coordinating care for older patients presenting to the emergency department.
We are looking for compassionate and skilled Staff Specialists to join the Aged Care, Rehabilitation, and Palliative Care Division. Total Indicative Remuneration: $353,110 - $792,732 p.a. The Hospital The network serves over 400,000 residents in Adelaide's northern metropolitan area, while also providing state-wide services and care to regional communities. It offers a wide range of primary health care services across the northern metropolitan region, focusing on preventive care, health promotion, and programs aimed at managing chronic diseases and supporting frail, elderly patients through hospital substitution and avoidance initiatives.

A 336-bed specialist referral public teaching hospital with affiliations to the University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, and Flinders University. This hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, emergency, and support services.A 174-bed acute care teaching hospital that provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, as well as Aged Care, Rehabilitation, and Palliative Care.GP Plus Health Care Centres and Super Clinics.Aboriginal Health Services.Mental Health Services, including two state-wide services for Forensics and Older Persons.Sub-acute Services.The Requirements Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalentAppropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration #J-18808-Ljbffr
