To apply via eCredential – Click here What you'll be doingReporting to the Hastings Macleay Clinical Director of Medicine, the Staff Specialist will provide contemporary, comprehensive specialist services, assist in the education role of Kempsey District Hospital and provide clinical care to patients within the Hastings Macleay Clinical Network.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at NSW Health Awards.
Minimum Requirements:Registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Medicine Physician.Demonstrated experience and commitment relevant to General Medicine and evidence of competence in skills relevant to a regional hospital practice.Excellent communication and liaison skills, fostering positive and productive working relationships between team members and with other disciplines.Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and relevant to General Medicine including teaching of medical students, JMOs, Nursing Staff, and other staff as required and an ongoing commitment to research.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to clinical quality improvement, accreditation requirements and peer review.NSW Health does not require or accept the 'fit2work badge' offered as an option in eCredential.
