Reporting to the Hastings Macleay Clinical Director of Medicine, the Staff Specialist will provide contemporary, comprehensive specialist services, assist in the education role of Kempsey District Hospital, and provide clinical care to patients within the Hastings Macleay Clinical Network.
About Kempsey District HospitalKempsey District Hospital is an 81 bed, level 3 facility with a level four 24-hour Emergency Department and a range of specialist services including:
high dependencysurgical day proceduresdrug and alcoholmental healthrenal dialysisrehabilitationobstetricsa maternity unit that births approximately 250 per annumAdditional services include physiotherapy, dietetics, social work, occupational therapy and Aboriginal health. Diagnostic services include onsite pathology, CT scans, ultrasound and general x-ray.

It's surrounded by national parks and just a short drive from the pristine beaches of the Macleay Valley Coast.
