The Hospital:
This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research center working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub-acute, mental health, and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.
The Role:
Our client is looking for someone to fill a consultant role in General Medicine. You will be expected to provide inpatient and outpatient care to public and private patients in General Medicine, plus be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and to be actively involved in research.
Permanent full-time or part-time day work (with on-call), working various hours up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing early 2024.
