Staff Specialist - General Medicine

The Location: Situated on the edge of a harbour bigger than Sydney's, this is a beautiful, fascinating tropical city, a melting pot of people and cultures that prides itself on its unique and friendly laid-back lifestyle.

The Facility: This is a Tertiary and level 3 Teaching Hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff.
The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities.
The Role: Provide high quality of care to an enormous geographical area - the Top End of the Northern Territory.
This will encompass the assessment of acute general medical inpatients, appropriate investigation and formulation of a management plan.
High level of leadership skills will be required to manage a large team of junior staff in a busy unit.

The Requirements: You must hold the FRACP and or be eligible to obtain it via training from NZ, UK, Ireland, USA or Canada.
