Staff Specialist - General Medicine

You will provide  consultant level management of inpatients admitted under a General Medical Unit.
This will encompass the assessment of acute general medical inpatients, appropriate investigation and formulation of a management plan.
The Facility: This hospital has a large General Medicine department, servicing approx.
100 inpatients/day, outpatient clinics and a remote outreach service.
This position will encompass working across all aspects of service delivery to facilitate a varied and balanced workload as negotiated with a successful applicant.
The position is ideal for candidates with fellowship in General and Acute Care Medicine however, consideration will also be given to applicants with a strong background in General Medicine who hold fellowship in a different specialty.
