About the RoleThis role provides specialist Gastroenterology & Hepatology clinical care to patients and assumes overall responsibility for patient care.
Services provided include:
Provides specialist services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service,Provides inpatient care, including participating in the on-call roster.Undertakes elective and/or emergency endoscopy procedures.Provides inpatient consultations as requested.Provides outpatient consultations.Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and meetings.Supervision and teaching of registrars, junior doctors and medical students, and teaching for other members of the multidisciplinary team.Participation and/or leadership of research and quality improvement activities.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement, and Excellence shape our culture within Metro South Health.
