Provide Pathology Services of the highest possible standard to patients.
The team: North Tasmanian Pathology Services (NTPS) provides Pathology services to Launceston General Hospital and the Northern regions of Tasmania. We are the only public pathology service operating in North Tasmania. NTPS aims to deliver a high quality service to general practitioners, medical specialists and private hospitals, providing patients with no out of pocket expenses for Medicare eligible tests. The team at NTPS comprises a large team involving multidisciplinary scientists, technicians and Pathologists. Provide Pathology Services of the highest possible standard to patients. Details of Appointment Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 27 May 2024

Specialist Medical Practitioners Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $210,000 - $310,349 per annum + 11% superannuation+ access to salary packaging
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $291,472 -$301,349 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award
Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022 In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Provision ofa fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $25,758 per annum Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,000 per annum Relocation and commencement support available up to $15,000 for approved appointees Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. 1. Experience in Cytopathology and Post Mortem procedures
