The ideal candidate: Skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthsia for obstetrics is required. Scope of Practice in paediatric anaesthesia (5 years and younger). An interest in Intensive Care management of patients. An interest in, or experience in, regional anaesthesia and acute and / or chronic pain management. FANZCA or equivalent. MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in a relevant clinical specialty. Wide open spaces and panoramic views ; the NWHHS covers a total population of around 36,000 people living in a geographical area spanning 300,000 km2! A permanent role is on offer with job security and flexible hours / roster arrangements negotiable (including the potential to work 5 months/year). Pro rata remuneration package (based on f/t equivalent value) from $441,940 up to $544,202 p.a. Base salary rates between $204,206 and $258,910 p.a. (f/t) (L18-L27) Attraction and retention incentive allowance 50% base p.a. salary Regional and rural attraction allowance 15% base p.a. salary Inaccessibility allowance of $34,500 p.a. Motor vehicle allowance 5 weeks p.a. annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful candidate. VPD risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis. 6 months probation may apply.
