Provide quality specialist anaesthetic services to the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) within the limits of specified clinical privileges.

Details of Appointment Multiple Permanent, full time and part time, day worker (with on call) position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 2 September 2024.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Specialist Medical Practitioners Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $210,000 - $310,349 per annum, pro rata + 11% superannuation+ access to salary packaging
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $291,472 -$301,349 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award
Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022 In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Provision ofa fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $25,758 per annum, pro rata Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,000 per annum, pro rata Relocation and commencement support available up to $15,000 for approved appointees Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered. The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
