The RHH is the State's tertiary referral centre and is also the primary teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania School of Medicine.
The successful applicant will hold a combined position across Children's Critical Care Services and the Department of Critical Care Medicine. Both departments are well-established services each employing upwards of 6 consultants from diverse backgrounds. The DCCM is a large (34 bed) teaching unit that cares for a diverse array of older children and adults, including tertiary cardiothoracic and neuro-critical care services. The CCCS is a state-wide tertiary service with a combined model of care but split consultant rosters for NICU and PICU patients.
