We are seeking an experienced Staff Development Nurse for the Population Health Unit at our Hedland Health Campus in South Hedland.
This is for either a Permanent Full-Time, or Fixed Term Full-Time appointment with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. About this role:The primary responsibility of the Staff Development Nurse is to contribute to the attainment of Pilbara Region health goals by ensuring opportunities for the development and assurance of clinical competence of nursing staff through the delivery of high-quality staff development programs and support of nursing staff and students.
In conjunction with the Nurse Educator, this position plans, implements and evaluates inter-professional programs addressing the learning needs of nurses and midwives within the Pilbara region including graduate nurses and midwives, to meet the regulatory, quality and safety practice standards within the health service with an overarching focus on consumer centred care.
