About the Opportunity:
St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs.
We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients.
Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation.
We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services.
Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

The Loan Set Sterilising Technician role will receive, register, process and return implants and loan sets of reusable medical devices (loan RMDs).
It also requires coordination with the perioperative manager, team leaders, relevant suppliers, their representatives, and the Central Sterilising Services Department team.
Additionally, the position involves providing quality support services that align with St Vincent's Health Australia's philosophy, mission, values, and ethics.

Hold a Cert III in Sterilising technology or equivalent or willingness to obtain; education to obtain CERT III may be considered Ideally experience in a CSSD or healthcare facility as a CSSD Technician, EN or AIN Ability to work flexible hours and weekend on-call work Ability to maintain a working knowledge of relevant policies/procedures and use these in work practices.
Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices Reconciliation Action Plan
