The Role The Risk Advisory Lead is responsible for providing advice and support in relation to risk management, compliance, and legal matters as well as company secretarial support services to the organisation.
This senior level role exists to ensure that St Lukes complies with its regulatory and contractual obligations, effectively manages strategic and operational risks, and maintains an ethical and prudentially sound, corporate governance culture.
The Risk Advisory Lead will work together with the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Risk & Resilience, to ensure there is an integrated approach to the management of risk, compliance, and legal matters across the organisation. The successful candidate will have: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a compliance and risk management related role or experience in a similarly regulated environment Familiarity with ISO31000 Risk Management frameworks and principles Knowledge of corporate governance, commercial contract, and contract management principles Strong planning and scheduling skills with an ability to prioritise critical work; High standard of written and verbal communication skills; Ability to understand commercial practicalities and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions.
