We are seeking a Secondary 2pt Science Co-ordinator to join our dynamic school community on an ongoing full-time basis term 1 2025.
Key focus areas - Learning & Growth Coach The role of the Learning & Growth Coach is designed to work proactively with the staff and students. In our distributive leadership model, this position will be critical in that they would build relationships with staff and students through the personalised learning, goal setting and coaching of students.
The Learning & Growth Coach:
Is a highly effective, skilled classroom practitionerWorks independently and inter-independently to improve their own practice and the practice of colleagues.Is an active member of the College who contributes to their colleagues' learning.Inspires, guides, advises and leads others in Learning and Performance (LAP), Student Led-Conferences and NCCD and all Personalised Plans.Initiates and engages in professional discussionsMaximises learning opportunities for students and staffHas an in-depth knowledge of GROWTH model, positive psychology, growth mindset and restorative justice.Models sound teaching practices in their teaching areas.Works collaboratively with colleagues to plan, evaluate and modify teaching programs to improve student learning.Keeps abreast of and seeks to be at the frontier of the latest developmentsSkilled in analysing student assessment data and use it to improve teaching and learning.Behaves ethically at all times. Their interpersonal and presentation skills are highly developed.Communicates effectively and respectfully with students, colleagues, parents/carers and community members.To join our vibrant school community, you will:
