Your Role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team for a period of 12 months on a fixed-term contract, to provide clinical physiotherapy to clients/patients using evidence-based clinical practice skills.
You will deliver evidence-based clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing high-quality assessments and treatments for a range of pelvic health conditions. You will work collaboratively with Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, Colorectal Surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to support the recovery and well-being of patients undergoing Gynaecological surgeries or managing pelvic health issues.
The Position Provide high quality evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable. Using patient-centered care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients. Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings. Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities. Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required. Assist with education and training programs for students as requested. Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation. Attend staff meetings and present at professional development sessions as required. Delegate to other staff members where appropriate e.g. Allied Health Assistants, or students. Liaise with other staff and educate staff about patient/client care. Maintain effective communication with patients, their families, staff and external health professionals and agencies to ensure quality patient management. You will have current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and possess experience with the provision of Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments and have a strong foundation in pelvic health physiotherapy.
To succeed, you will possess effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and have demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.

We can offer you Salary: $82,617 to $116,189 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation. 12 month full-time fixed-term parental leave cover, working 38 hours per week.
