Your opportunity Step into an exciting opportunity in 2025! We're looking for a dedicated Japanese Teacher to join our talented team.
If you're passionate about inspiring students and making a meaningful impact, this is your chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive community.
Commencing in January 2025, this position is a fixed-term one-year part-time contract to cover a staff member on leave.
Relocation assistance is available.
Skills and experience The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice, with a focus on Japanese. They will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.
Essential qualifications and requirements Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching. Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain). Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College. Able to affirm the College's Statement of Faith. Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
