We're looking for a Sr. Technical Trainer to join our team, who will own the learning experience for all of the audiences eero supports in the APAC region.
The ideal candidate is obsessed with the customer experience, forward-thinking with creativity and a passion for creating and delivering training.
Key job responsibilitiesAs a Sr. Technical Trainer, you will:
Design, develop and deliver training that supports multiple modalities, including in person, and self-directed learningAct as the subject matter expert and field questions about policies, tools, and practices in real timeFacilitate the collection and submission of feedback and technical issues from learnersPartner with leaders across eero to identify areas for improvement and innovation in session implementationWork with the broader Learning and Development team to develop training to address learning opportunitiesExecute on the eero Learning and Development training/program roadmap by meeting project and program deliverablesContinually improve learning content in response to learner needs, feedback, and dataTrack and report on key KPIs including completion, learner retention, proficiency, and business impactModel all content with accessibility as a primary tenant.
Reinforce inclusive presentation methods and consider all audiences in deliveryRepresent customer feedback to stakeholders and advocate for product and process improvements across APACContribute to strategy development that enables scalability of programs across APAC regionsA day in the lifeAs a Sr Technical Trainer for eero CS, you'll work closely with leaders throughout the business to understand and prioritize training needs for each audience.
You'll review training materials, constantly iterating to improve the learning experience.
You'll partner with leaders across eero to understand the unique opportunities for each audience and develop training programs to improve learner performance, tracking against key business outcomes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS4+ years in a Technical Training or Learning and Development roleUniversity degree or equivalent experience in Adult Learning, Learning and Development, or related fieldsStrong business acumen with a track record of successExcellent communication skills and ability to convey insights from complex analyses to internal and external entitiesAbility to think strategically and tactically with attention to detailTenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment is essential for successExperience developing and facilitating technical content, distilling complex topics for a wide range of audiences and levels of expertiseExperience using authoring tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, CaptivateCapable of working closely with data and using analytics to problem-solveAbility to travel both domestically and internationally (Ability to effectively manage time, and prioritize multiple tasks of competing priorityPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong preparation, organization, public speaking and classroom management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
)Familiarity with the use of a Learning Management System (LMS) and with the help of multimedia in trainingProven analytical/technical aptitudePrior experience with networking hardware or software a plusAcknowledgement of countryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
