The Role
As a Senior Software Developer at AspenTech, you will provide mentorship, solve complex problems, and manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will impact the direction of our front-end architecture, ensuring we deliver innovative and user-centric experiences across all our products with front-end best practices and a high standard of quality.

What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience with core technologies such as NodeJS, GitHub Actions, Webpack, Gradle, Nginx, MongoDB, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and/or JUnit.
5+ years of experience with modern front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.), and web performance optimization techniques.
Experience with writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
Exposure to architectural design patterns of highly scaled web applications.
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility challenges and client-side performance optimization techniques.
Experience with RESTful API integration.
0-5% travel is required.
Experience with building reusable UI components and design systems.
Experience with server-side rendering frameworks.
Experience with containerization and cloud services.
Experience with micro-front-end architecture.
