About the roleThis is a full-time Fixed Term Employment 1 + 1 potential extension. On-site opportunity to join the CBRE team as a Sr./Project Engineer - Fit Out/M&E (Data Centre- Sydney). Based in Western, Sydney and you will be responsible for delivering complex data centre projects with a focus on fit-out and mechanical and electrical engineering.What you'll be doingManage the delivery of complex data centre projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standardLiaise with clients, contractors and internal teams to coordinate project activitiesReview designs, drawings and specifications to identify and resolve issuesOversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systemsMonitor project budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating risksEnsure all work complies with relevant codes, standards and regulationsSupport the training and development of junior project engineersWhat we're looking for8+ years of post-qualification experience in project engineering, ideally within the data centre or commercial construction sectorsExtensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practicesProven ability to manage complex projects from design through to completionStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesTertiary qualification in engineering or a related disciplineWhat we offerAt CBRE, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
