Amazon Resale sells returned and repaired products, maximizing recovery and minimizing waste.In this role, you will own the Amazon Resale program, including:P&L management, goals definition and roadmap execution for Amazon Resale (including designing solutions to get products repaired with alternatives to External Repair solutions).Re-define Amazon Resale's CX, including optimizing current Landing page in Amazon, pricing, PR and stock management.Own the AU repair network, including:Managing the relationships with Amazon's repair partners and internal Relo fulfillment centers to optimize performance.Deliver high repair efficiency through close management of input and output metrics, taking data driven decisions in partnership with stakeholders.Help grow the business through on-boarding new partners, developing new repair models, and being the voice of repair for future tech and product improvements.Uphold a high standard for our customers, ensuring that products sold on Amazon Resale have undergone meticulous repair processes, delighting customers and preventing further defects.This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Tech, Finance, and others. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done is essential, as you will be working in a start-up or early-stage environment. You will define best practices, create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and act as a subject matter expert (SME), paving the way for future team members to support this highly strategic and fast-growing area of the business.Key job responsibilities include:Owning the Amazon Resale business and financial performance, input, defect metrics, and strategy.Owning the commercial agreements with Repair vendor business-to-business (B2B) customers.Conducting Request for Proposals (RFP) or strategic negotiations on behalf of Amazon with our external vendors/buyers.Making business decisions to optimize recovery across the Amazon Resale channels.Improving customer experience for Customers in Amazon, including Pricing, Stock management, Marketing etc.Identifying industry trends and identifying the right vendor partners to support the strategic goals and objectives.Setting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.Representing Amazon when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and building long-term strategic relationships.Working cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Finance and Operations partners including setting standard cadences and processes for partnership.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.Experience with end to end product delivery.Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.Experience as a product manager or owner.Experience owning technology products.10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.Experience managing technical products or online services.Experience in P&L, product, program, project management, and goals definition in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level.- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization.Posted: November 8, 2024Amazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age.
