The AMS Repair team is looking for a Business Manager to own the performance and growth of Amazon Resale in Australia. Amazon Resale sells returned and repaired products, maximizing recovery and minimizing waste.
In this role, you will own the Amazon Resale program, including:
P&L management, goals definition and roadmap execution for Amazon Resale (including designing solutions to get products repaired with alternative to External Repair solutions - to be defined)Re-define Amazon Resale's CX, including optimizing current Landing page in Amazon, pricing, PR and stock managementOwn the AU repair network, including managing the relationships with Amazon's repair partners and internal Relo fulfillment centers to optimize performanceDeliver high repair efficiency through close management of input and output metrics, making data-driven decisions in partnership with stakeholdersHelp grow the business through on-boarding new partners, developing new repair models, and being the voice of repair for future tech and product improvementsUphold a high standard for our customers, ensuring that products sold on Amazon Resale have undergone meticulous repair processes, delighting customers and preventing further defectsThis role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Tech, Finance, and others. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done is essential, as you will be working in a start-up or early-stage environment. You will define best practices, create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and act as a subject matter expert (SME), paving the way for future team members to support this highly strategic and fast-growing area of the business.

Key job responsibilitiesOwning the Amazon Resale business and financial performance, input, defect metrics, and strategy (including but not limited to External Repair - e.g. adopting new ways to grade / repair)Owning the commercial agreements with Repair vendor business-2-business (B2B customers)Conducting Request for Proposals (RFP) or strategic negotiations on behalf of Amazon with our external vendors/buyersMaking business decisions to optimize recovery across the Amazon Resale channelsImproving customer experience for Customers in Amazon, including Pricing, Stock management, Marketing etc.Identifying industry trends and identifying the right vendor partners to support the strategic goals and objectivesSetting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and visionRepresenting Amazon when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and building long term strategic relationshipsWorking cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Finance and Operations partners including setting standard cadences and processes for partnershipMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience as a product manager or ownerExperience owning technology products10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceExperience managing technical products or online servicesExperience in P&L, product, program, project management, and goals definition in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or servicesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insightsExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersKnowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced levelExperience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organizationAcknowledgement of country:
