Amazon Private Brands Quality Management team is looking for a smart, energetic, hard-working and creative member to join our team.
The successful candidate need to show excellent judgment and instincts in decision making and proactively and continually improve their level of knowledge about Amazon's business, its platform, and relevant technologies.
This is an exciting and challenging position that provides quality support as a Subject Matter Expert to ensure successful adherence with customer satisfaction and worldwide product and consumer safety requirements.
This position is responsible for product quality across a range of consumer electronics product categories.
This position will have the opportunity to apply SME-level knowledge in new and exciting ways by supporting quality improvement approaches while creating innovative solutions that move at internet speed.
We are seeking a talented SME Quality Manager with direct experience in manufacturing quality, inspection and auditing, testing, and quality strategy to support our rapidly growing and evolving business.
Key Responsibilities Apply SME-level quality strategy and process knowledge across multiple product categories by working with manufacturing suppliers.
Develop best-in-class processes and systems and drive continuous improvement.
Drive scalable quality solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate technical, quality, and process requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
Monitor and train suppliers to improve quality and customer satisfaction performance.
Monitor and train third-party lab service providers for product testing.
Perform failure analysis for product quality and safety failures.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in science or engineering major.
Minimum 7 years of experience in consumer product quality management.
Knowledge of product quality and product development processes in the consumer electronics industry.
Private label product development.
A mix of quality and project management experience.
Ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate.
Determinative and resilient.
Highly detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical business owners to get the job done.
Excellent business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to getting the job done.
Must be able to think creatively and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must also be able to easily learn web applications and proprietary software.
Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are driven in parallel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in retail consumer electronics, consumer products, or other fast-paced, technology-driven businesses is a plus.

Excellent creative thinking skills, with a focus on developing innovative solutions to complex problems that may not have clear answers.
