Job Description The Sr. Product Engineer - Pavement will have the following responsibilities:
Driving the implementation and acceptance of Puma next generation sustainable bitumen technology in Australia.Providing input into the R&D program aimed at developing more sustainable, durable and low carbon emission bituminous binder solutions.Liaising with key customers to enhance the Bitumen Product Branch offering to support and further develop key commercial relationships.Representing the company at industry meetings and providing technical input to specification development.Assessing the performance of bituminous products with customers in the field and identifying product improvements.Develop technical product information and data-sheets.Provide technical support to the sales team and develop marketing campaigns. The Successful Applicant A successful Sr. Product Engineer - Pavement should have:
A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.Chartered Professional Engineer / Scientist status highly regarded.Minimum 5 years experience in bitumen/asphalt industry.Understanding of Austroads and state road agency pavement, asphalt and sprayed seal design procedures.Able to communicate effectively, the successful candidate will have excellent written communication skills.Team and Customer focus.Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.Understanding and experience in planning, communication and key project management.Proven track record of delivering commercial projects and customer interfacing.
