This is a permanent full-time role based in SYDNEY.
Reporting to the VP, International Security based in Madrid, the Sr Manager Security is responsible for leading and managing security operations across our offices, productions, and events throughout Australia.
This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, and productions while maintaining a secure environment that aligns with industry standards and Paramount's corporate policies.
Functions will also include:

Overseeing physical security measures, including access control, CCTV systems, incident response for corporate offices.
Coordinating with local teams to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Managing the selection, hiring and performance of security vendors, ensuring services meet required standards and contractual agreements.
Supervising and guiding a team of outsourced security professionals.
Managing security protocols for in-studio and third-party productions, including personnel safety, equipment protection and confidentiality.
Conducting regular risk assessments for all Network 10 locations and productions. Also, working closely with production teams to anticipate and mitigate risks.
Leading security planning for Network 10 events such as premiers, media events and public engagements.
Ensuring the safety of talent, guests, and audiences, coordinating with event staff and external security vendors.
Responding to security incidents including theft, trespassing and emergencies.
Leading investigations and coordinating with law enforcement and relevant authorities when necessary.
Providing training, performance evaluations, and ensuring staff are up to date on best practices and protocols.
Working closely with Paramount's International Security Team, legal, HR, and production departments.

What are we looking for in a Sr Manager Security? What's important?

8+ years of experience in security management, preferably within the media, entertainment, or events industry (a bonus but not essential).
5+ years of experience leading and managing security teams across multiple locations.
5+ years of experience hiring and managing security vendors, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and budget management.
Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, incident management and reporting.
Must be willing to travel frequently across Australia and occasionally to international locations as required.
Experience in managing security for productions is highly desirable.
A bachelor's degree in security and/or relevant certifications in security management, such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional).
Familiarity with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control) and emergency protocols.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
Proven decision-making skills and crisis management abilities.
