Job Summary Job Responsibilities: Understand and monitor cycle time, lead time and material flowServe as senior lead trainer for new team members, fostering a collaborative and cooperative work environmentOpen to learning new methods, technologies needed for enhanced performanceMeet production deadlines, setting priorities and escalating issues with urgencyEnsure processes are followed correctly, while adhering to the required quality standardsWork from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches and running sheets of significant complexityEnsure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification required to maintain the certificationInterface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materialsQuality of finished product (Pass/fail rates)Perform standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and recording resultsRequire knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment, alignment and troubleshooting test failuresSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationRequirements: Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the field or in a related areaStrong decision-making, communication and leadership skillsStrong understanding of manufacturing processExperienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practicesKnowledge of assembly, test and test equipment, alignment and troubleshooting test failures preferredMust have good mechanical skills with strong attention to detailsSoldering and wire bonding experience a plusExperience with MRP and Excel a plusExperience in the safe handling of chemicals a plusTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
