Area Responsible For: National
Key Responsibilities and Objectives:Contracts Management, Procurement and Implementation of all capital works orders on time and within budget to customer satisfaction.Financial management of all capital works contracts.Subcontractor and Supplier management for effective project implementation.Product importation control.Manage the engineering process and resources.Oversee the WHS system.Provide shareholders with a return on investment.Protect the company's margin at all times.Budget:The cost of goods sold as quoted on an individual job's basis shall form the budget.
Principal Responsibilities (no specific order):Manage and implement all Capital equipment orders and contracts within budget and on time.Negotiate contracts, contract conditions, and variations as required.Prepare and manage the financial system for each contract.Manage Project/Site Supervisors and CAD staff.Effectively use and manage company resources and contract labour/resources as required.Procurement of finished Goods, Materials, and Labour as required.Perform and/or assist in engineering, design, and procurement of goods for project implementation.Order product from Piller Germany and other overseas suppliers as required.Liaise with Piller Germany to facilitate importation of product to meet customer specifications.Assist the CAD operator for project engineering from time to time as required.Track all imports including shipping, customs clearance, and delivery to site.Supervise our freight forwarding agent and parent company dispatch department.Attend site meetings and liaise with customer's project managers and engineering staff.Liaise with the Service Department to coordinate human resources for system commissioning and site-related technical matters for effective project implementation.Develop customer relationships that will encourage continual growth and repeat business.Develop customer and supplier relationships through the project management process.Effectively hand over completed projects to the Service Department for after-sales support.Manage and maintain the current QA, WHS systems, and Project Filing systems.Support the company's Sales and new project engineering effort and overall activities as required.Work within a local (state) and national team environment.Provide service beyond customer expectation.Be a team player and multi-functional where practical.Note: Will relocate current Australian Residents only; not considering out of country engineers or providing sponsorship.
Required:Degree in Electrical Engineering is necessary.
