Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent and relevant industry experience.
5+ years working in a full Software Development Life Cycle environment (Agile method).
5+ years working in a large, complex Enterprise environment.
5+ years of experience in modern API development frameworks.
Experience supporting and modernizing legacy systems.
Ability to collaborate with development staff on improving deployment processes.
Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in large, complex application environments.
Ability to form and leverage effective relationships with different teams spread across multiple geographically disparate sites.
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to influence others in a positive way.
Passion for learning new technologies.
Stays abreast of the latest industry trends.
Specific Technology Expertise Experience with Physical Network Inventory devices, terminology, and connectivity (must have) Skilled at problem solving, unit-testing, and debugging, including automated test generation.
Knowledge of RDBMS systems (Oracle and Postgres) and an understanding of data structures, data normalization, and query performance considerations.
Experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software development.
Experience with OGC standards and technologies such as WMS, WMTS, WFS.
Experience with SQL including query performance and optimization - ideally with Oracle Databases.
Experience with DevOps / Continuous Integration environments.
Experience using Jira or other issue management systems.
