Job DescriptionThis role manages Employee Health, Retirement, Risk, and Leave benefit programs within the APJ regions, working with external brokers and cross-functional teams (Compensation, FP&A, Legal) to ensure compliance and market competitiveness. Responsibilities include managing benefit enhancements, supporting new market setups and local integrations, optimizing benefit processes, and overseeing vendor relationships and service levels. The role also assists with pensions governance, handles escalated benefits issues, and supports M&A activities. Additionally, it manages long-term leave cases, implements leave policies, and ensures alignment with company guidelines and local regulations, while contributing to the global benefits budget planning process. What you get to do in this role: Management of Employee Health, Retirement, Risk, and Leave Benefit programs in APJ countriesCollaborate with external brokers and cross-functional teams (Compensation, FP&A, Legal) to ensure compliance and seamless execution of benefit-related tasksEnsure market competitiveness by analysing market data, benchmarking surveys, and peer companies' benefit offeringsManage benefit enhancements, implement new benefits and new market setups, and support the integration of global benefit programs locallyIdentify and implement opportunities for process optimization in collaboration with the GP care teamManage vendor relationships, ensuring high service levels and monitoring performance.Support pension governance processes where neededOwn escalated benefits issues, partnering with vendors and the Global People team to resolve problems effectivelyDuring the global benefits budget cycle, ensure recommendations for new programs are financially sustainableProvide administrative support for M&A activities, including due diligence and onboarding presentationsManage long-term leave cases (e.g., medical or disability), ensuring compliance with leave policies, and coordinate return-to-work planning with external vendorsImplement and maintain leave policies in line with company guidelines and local laws and communicate updates to employeesQualificationsTo be successful in this role you have: 3+ years' experience managing of Employee Health, Retirement, Risk and Leave Benefit programs in APJSelf-motivated. Agile and able to work at speed whilst not compromising on quality of workAbility to collaborate cross functionally with teams such as Payroll, GP Care, Sourcing FP&A, and Legal to deliver comprehensive and compliant benefit programsFamiliarity with tracking and supporting budget planning processes for benefit programs. Experienced in analysing reports on benefit usage, costs, and financial projectionsExperienced in supporting the monitoring of vendor service levels, including pension governance and vendor onboardingLeave Program Management-Experience in handling long-term leave cases, including medical or disability leave, working with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., insurance companies)Knowledge of implementing and maintaining leave policies (e.g. Sick, vacation, parental leave) and ensuring alignment with company guidelines and local lawsAbility to respond to employee queries effectivelyExperience with Benefit Platforms (Darwin) and Workday preferable.
