Job DescriptionServiceNow is seeking a Senior Advisory Solution Consultant to provide technical sales expertise and partner with a key customer in the banking industry.
You will offer product and solution advice during sales pursuits, utilizing world-class technical pre-sales consulting techniques to demonstrate the power, flexibility, and ease of use of the ServiceNow platform.
What You Get to Do in This Role As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will serve as a technical expert, skilled in positioning and delivering product-specific solutions during sales cycles, while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
Understand the business and technical challenges addressed by ServiceNow solutions, including regulations, business drivers, evolving needs, and security considerations.Collaborate routinely with C-suite executives.Conduct customer interviews, both in-person and remotely, to uncover technology and business needs.Support sales teams in qualifying enterprise customer needs.Lead discussions to define customers' business objectives that ServiceNow can address, focusing on value rather than product features.Provide mentorship and training to colleagues.Support and occasionally lead regional marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.Deliver tailored product demonstrations for prospects and customers, onsite or via video conference.Develop demo scripts, scenarios, and maintain demonstration environments.Act as a consultative guide by offering best practices for designing solutions using the ServiceNow platform.Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).Stay current on product releases and competitive analyses to effectively position ServiceNow solutions.Partner with Sales and Professional Services teams to ensure smooth customer transitions during deployments.Represent ServiceNow as a subject matter expert at executive briefings and marketing events.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have:
10+ years of enterprise software pre-sales experience (e.g., Solution Consulting or Pre-Sales Engineering).Experience working with and selling to large enterprises (5,000+ employees).Expertise in selling to financial services organizations such as banks, insurance companies, or wealth/asset management firms.Familiarity with one or more of the following areas:IT Service Management (ITSM)Financial Management (FM)Project Portfolio Management (PPM)DevOps or AgileHR Service Delivery (HRSD)Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)Security OperationsIT Operations Management (ITOM), including Cloud Management, Event Management, or Infrastructure Discovery/Mapping.Strong knowledge of shared services or support center environments.Technical proficiency with enterprise SaaS technologies and a proven ability to learn new technology quickly.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Familiarity with enterprise architecture and IT frameworks.Preferred Certifications ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation (desired but not required).ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (desired but not required).Advanced ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) (a plus but not required).Additional Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Strong territory management skills, including pipeline building and collaboration with sales teams to ensure successful execution.Willingness to travel as necessary.Not sure if you meet every qualification?
