Our client is a niche financial services firm, and they're currently seeking a SQL DBA to join their team in Sydney.

Working closely with the Senior DBA, you'll install, administer, configure, and maintain SQL database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

You'll manage the cloud IaaS & PaaS configuration, and ensure the performance and integrity of all SQL & Cosmos databases
You'll also monitor database performance , implement protocols and access controls, and ensure overall data security.

SQL databases within this organisation sit on Azure cloud.

To be successful in this role you will need :
Around 5 years' experience as a SQL Server DBA In depth knowledge of SQL internals Data architecture and modelling experience PowerShell skills would be ideal Expert SQL debugging skills Strong SQL performance tuning abilities Knowledge of SQL Server tools including SSIS Next steps
